I've done some long trail runs/hikes lately with my Fitbit Ionic. During the activity I can see my Ionic logging steps as high as 50,000 for the day, but then when it sync-ed with my phone later on the number of steps were less than what my device reported pre-sync. I noticed that the bar graph in the Fitbit app shows a max of 1080 steps during the most intense periods of a workout. This appears to be why the total steps for the day was changed to a lower number after a sync. Anyone else experienced this? Its annoying to not get credit for my steps!
