Fitbit app shows only few days of exercise instead of monthly summary

LG phone, recently updated & Fitbit Inspire HR. Updated  App. App is still missing all stats prior to May 1.  Everything is on dashboard, but not on web.  Went through troubleshooting tips- that is why I updated the phone, the app, nothing left to do.  rebooted phone, turned bluetooth on and off....nothing is changing on the app.  From the threads here, this is not uncommon.  is there a fix?  Please do not tell me to uninstall the app one more time.

I have a Fitbit Versa Lite and am using an android phone. My fitbit app says that it is up-to-date. However, for the past few days, I have noticed all of my exercise history disappearing from the app. The app currently only gives information about workouts that happened between May 2 and May 10 (today) and the calendar only shows the past four days of completed exercise out of the last 30 days. This is completely incorrect. When logged in to my fitbit dashboard on a browser, my exercise history remains correct. The app, however is missing the past 30 days of completed exercises on the exercise calendar, and the past 17 months of logged exercise history. In an attempt to correct this,  I have tried

1. Syncing my fitbit/app

2. Restarting my phone

3. Logging out of & logging back into the app

4. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app

I was able to get the correct exercise history to briefly reappear correctly on the app (long enough for a screenshot), but it disappeared again. Is there anyway to fix these issues and return my correct exercise history to my app? Thank you!

There are a bunch of threads on this. Seems like a widespread problem.

Same mine has disappeared. No solution so far from fitbit. Only now have history on phone for exercise back to start of may

I have a similar problem,  my exercises don't show on the app, i.e 2 exercises shows for one week, on the top says 3 out of 3 exercise days. I tried logging out and back in, didn't work

So today mine has come back. But when I first go into exercise section I have 5 black ticks on 5 days of exercise in last 30 days. As I scroll down the list of exercises they judder and then load and when you go back to top all the ticks have displayed. However if you leave the exercise section then go back in its gone back to 5 ticks again 🤦‍:female_sign:

Has Fitbit responded to any of these threads? Other than telling us all to reboot, reinstall, log out and in etc? I just noticed a few runs from last week are gone. It's not unreasonable to ask that Fitbit fixes this. Recording and tracking workouts is like literally the reason we buy these things, that's super basic. You'd think Fitbit would take core funtionality more seriously.

They emailed me and said that it 'should' work after the next update from fitbit, but gave no info on when update was coming.

My data has returned but when you go into the tile it shows 3 from last 30 days, but as you scroll down it loads and then if you go to top it shows all the ticks but it's clunky and not yet properly fixed.

I agree this is the core feature of fitbit and if this doesn't work then a pointless app and watch!

Fingers crossed for update.

When I click on "x of x days of exercise this week" on the home screen and swipe left on the upper screen, my completed days that I've met my exercise goal have disappeared. It's currently showing the past seven days instead of the past four weeks. The lower screen still shows my exercise details. This started about two or so weeks ago.

I've restarted my Inspire HR, logged out of the app and logged back in with no change. I'm running my app on an Android. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. I appreciate the details shared.

In order to further investigate this, please let me know if you're still only seeing the last 7 days summary on your exercise tile or if it's showing the monthly data. If you're still experiencing this, let me know the following:

- Phone model

- OS installed

- Fitbit app version

In the meantime, as always make sure that the latest app version is installed on your phone, this will ensure that you receive the latest improvements and bug fixes.

Hope this helps.

Only shows 6 days, if I scroll down through activities it starts to populate the summary charts at top, but they are back to only 6 days when accessing the app again.

Mine is still missing monthly data, and random workouts disappear and sometimes reappear, sometimes don't. I've had to start syncing with Garmin Connect as a backup because I want to ensure data isn't lost and I no longer trust Fitbit.

In the meantime I have found if you scroll down and through last months list of workouts (that haven't mysteriously disappeared) and scroll back up to the top they show back up in the top menus (i.e. Calendar checkmark view, Duration chart, Distance chart.......)
