I am in China since 3 years. I have an Android phone with an an North American OS and FB app. up to date. Suddenly this week :
1) my Charge 4 stop connecting to my phone... of course i tried everything (resetting the device, rebooting the phone, etc etc)
2) I was log out of my account.
3) could not log back on the FB account, receiving the message wrong email/password. Check my account at Fitbit.com. No problem could log with the same account and password that the App was giving the the wrong p/w email message
per luck, I found out that now i have to use a VPN for my device to connect and to log in my account om my phone
that must be the consequence of google buying Fitbit....
And of course, someone forgot to let us know that we would experiment problems!

Hello @marc.temp I'm not sure who provides your Internet connection, or if Chinese government made changes, but it sounds like at some point one of the two has closed the port that the app uses. Is this something fitbit would have first hand knowledge about?

Both China telecom and China Mobile
Google is block in China. I guess that Fitbit should know that being bought by Google it would have consequences. Fitbit should follow this issue before it affect its users
