Fitbit app stopped responding

This morning my Fitbit app started showing a blank screen on all pages and refusing to sync with by Fitbit. I tried the usual resyncing, turning Bluetooth on and off, restarting watch to no avail. Finally reinstalled the app. Now it won't let me log in via Google both in the app and for the Fitbit help chat (although interestingly it let me for this forum).

Anyone got any ideas? Photo is using latest software and is a Google Phone logged into my account successfully for other services/apps

Update: OK. Ignore me, has suddeny started working again just after I posted this (after 1 hour of trying various things)

@kingmva Nice to see you in the forums again. Thanks for the explanation. The red big X is related to the firmware update. What Fitbit device do you have? Anything else shown on screen? Does it vibrate when you press the button on the side? Is the green light flashing on the back of your device? Thanks in advance. If your device is not taking any charge, I recommend the following article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hi @Timelady84  , I'm glad your problem is solved. Somet imes I get a warning that the server of fitbit is too busy. I think it has something to do with that.

I had the same problem yesterday. Today it shows that the Fitbit is synced but my steps are not being recorded. My sleep for last night didn't register either.

Anyone have any suggestions?

@MarioDings Thanks for your own experience with it.

@Timelady84 I am glad to read that is is already working for you, Thanks for letting us know.

@Buttrrbean58 Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the step count. Are the steps not shown on the app or the device remains at 0 steps? What Fitbit device do you have? Try resetting it and see if it counts steps afterwards. (How do I restart my Fitbit device?).
