Fitbit app will not sync to my Fitbit Charge 2

After using since 12/25/16 with no issues the app on my android phone will no longer sync. The fitbit is working but the app is not. This has just started in the last couple days. I have found no help in the posts.

First thing to try is restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work. If that doesn't do the trick then there are some troubleshooting ideas in this help file:

I would like to know if you keep having problems syncing your tracker? If you do, I recommend following our syncing troubleshoot. After these steps your tracker should sync without an inconvenience.
