Fitbit blaze not receiving notifications from Huawei P8 mobile

Hi Fit bit team,

Please enable my new Fit bit Blaze watch to receive notifications ie. Messages and calls from my Huawei P8 lite mobile phone. I really want to keep my new watch and I've only just bought my phone too. The fitbit app needs to enable this. There are quite a few people I know have this issue too and are just like me waiting for you to roll out a new app version to fix this, without having to return the watch. My previous fitbit charge HR worked perfectly with the call notifications.

Thanks for your interest in Fitbit. At this moment the Huawei P8 lite is not a part of our supported devices list. Because of this, we're not able to guarantee that the notifications will work. However be sure to keep an eye on the list since we're regularly adding new devices to it.

Thanks for replying, but as mentioned my Fitbit charge HR use to receive notifications from my Huawei P8 and it's not listed as a supporting device? It's the app that needs to accept Android 5.0.1..lots of phones out there, even the newer ones are still on this Android version.

Need to know how long approximately as want to keep the watch but also need to know if have to return to store.

Since the device is not a supported one, it is possible that the notification work but we're not able to guarantee that it will work all of the time. As for a specific time frame, we do not have any details of when we can expect the P8 to be added to the list. If we do have any details, we will be sure to let everyone know.
