Fitbit blaze won't connect via Bluetooth

Hi, I have had this device for a while now. A couple of weeks ago I noticed it wouldn't pair with my bluetooth on my s8. The blaze classic option is missing and no amount of turning on/off either device has worked. Please help.

Hi there @nmodi, nice to see you here in the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering if you are experiencing syncing issues or you are not able to pair your tracker?

Bluetooth classic helps for music control, however for syncing your information is your Fitbit app in charge of manage all the process to upload your data. So in this case if you are experiencing syncing issues please take a look at this post: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Otherwise if this is not the issue, please let me know what is the behavior of the app.

See you later!

Hi there @nmodi, my apologies for the late response and thank you for letting me know more details! I'm wondering how it goes so far?

If the issue persists, I would like to recommend the following post: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

If music control is not working either, try these steps:

  • On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and select Blaze (on iPhone) or Blaze (Classic) (on Android and Windows phones). If you don't see Blaze in the list of devices paired to your phone, set up music control again. For instructions, see How do I control music with my Fitbit device?
  • Make sure Blaze is within approximately 20 feet of your phone.
  • Under Settings on Blaze, confirm that Bluetooth Classic is set to "Pair."
  • Try switching Bluetooth Classic from "Pair" to something else and then back to "Pair."
  • Restart your phone.

Stick around if you need more help.

I have a similar issue with my Fitbit Blaze, it won't sync with my iPhone Fitbit App.  This started happening a few days ago.  The Fitbit Blaze is only 2 months old.

I restarted the Blaze and that didn't work.  I deleted and reinstalled the iOS App and restarted the Blaze and that didn't work.

I did update my Fitbit App on Feb 21 to version 2.46 and it doesn't look like it has worked since.

It seems like there may be a bug in the Feb 21 2018 iOS version 2.46 release of the Fitbit App.

I was able to pair the Blaze with the iPhone by going through the iOS settings menu.  I deleted the existing pairing with the Blaze and it was able to pair again just fine.

The iOS Fitbit App is stuck at "Connecting to Tracker..." and will not progress.
