Fitbit charge 2 time won't sync.

So I've seen a lot of these threads on this forum and have tried all the solutions to no avail.

We recently traveled from the East coast of the US to the west coast on our way to Fiji. In Los Angeles I resynced my Fitbit to monitor layover time. Then when we got to Fiji I left it in the room safe for the week set on West coast time. Since coming home I cannot get it to reset to east coast. Every time I sync it it says it last synced three hours ago. I have done every combination of resetting the Fitbit, turning off Bluetooth, turning off the phone, manually changing phone and Fitbit time and time zone, removing Fitbit from my account and readding it, logging out of the account, deleting the app, and clearing the app data from my phone. Nothing fixes it. Some things I've noticed include the fact that when I reinstall the app it defaults the time zone to Pacific time. Additionally, my wife was able to add it to her phone and set the time correctly, but when I readded it to my account it defaulted to Pacific time again.

Please help! I'm pulling my hair out and ready to return this thing.

Thanks

@Evank55, go into the Fitbit.com Dashboard Device Settings and change the time zone there, and then sync the tracker. That should correct the time.

Hi Larry,

Believe me that's the first thing I tried! All that accomplishes is it changes the 'last synced' time. If I manually change it to Pacific time, where the device is stuck, it says last synced a moment ago. If I change it to mountain time, for instance, it says last synced an hour ago. The actual time on the device never changes
