Fitbit no longer syncing on Galaxy S5

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S5 for a couple of years, and my Fitbit for over 9 months. I've never had trouble with it automatically syncing, but for the past 4 days it won't sync. Everytime I click the sync button on the app it says there was an error. Thank you in advance!

Hello @LindsayNicole and @Missycivo. I see you are new members, so let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit community.

If you are experiencing issues at the moment to sync, I recommend to review the following post for more help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Hope this helps, let me know if the issue persists.

Thanks, I've tried all of that, which is why I posted this question here.

The restart worked for me. It was a bit of effort because I had to install.the app on my pc before it would pair with my galaxy again. I received a code diaplayed on my fit bit 4 times before and reatarted twice before it worked. Was worth the extra effort though.

Did you try unpairing fitbit from samsung, restart samsung, pair device to laptop with wireless dongle and restart fitbit all in the same day? If not, this is what worked for me. It took about an hour but finally got them to sync again.
