Fitbit no longer syncing with android phone

Both my daughter's and my fit Its have stopped syncing to our phones. They will sync to the computer app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting and installing replacement. Nothing seems to work. We have different phones and our fit bits are a few years old.

I am having the exact same issue, also with an older phone and FitBit. Very frustrating when the FitBit is sitting right next to the phone and yet the phone says it can't locate it.
