I previously updated my Fitbit Charge 2 because after a year I got tired of hearing "Technical Support is always working on updates to sync Fitbits and phones"! Well, it's well over 2 years, I purchased the Fitbit Versa. I now upgraded my phone from the HTC'S to the LG g7 thinq. We have the same problem. Its not comparable either and I'm still getting the same story. I was NOT told for either watch that I needed a dongle to do updates on my computer.
How long is it going to take Fitbit to realize before they sell a new tracker, they should make sure "EVERYTHING" works including receiving notifications! It seems what's happening is Fitbit is selling high priced watches that don't accomplish everything Fitbit promisesd it's Customers!
So Fitbit, how long is it going to take to add comparability of notifications (sms) from Fitbits to phones and to add the LG g7 thinq to the comparability list?? I would like to get my messages!
This problem is ongoing. If we all looked for new providers instead of buying a Fitbit, would you move any quicker to fix the problems that the Community has been complaint about?? I'd appreciate a reply back and "NOT" a generic answer!
The other option is you can re-imburse me for the Fitbit Versa I bought and the previous Fitbit Charge 2 prior because of the same issues, Well, what are you planning to do about ALL our complaints?

Don't bother looking at Garmin until you look at their phone compatibility list.
