I keep having problems with not receiving notifications and the Fitbit won’t sync. I was told that Fitbit is not compatible with the new phones.

Here's how I fixed it when my fitbit Inspire 2 wouldn't connect to my new phone!
Step 1: Remove your fitbit device from the fitbit app and uninstall the app.
Step 2: Remove your fitbit device from your bluetooth connected devices list on your phone
Step 3: Restart your fitbit device and phone
Step 4: Redownload the fitbit app. Treat it like a new fitbit device and begin the pairing process.
Step 5: You'll get a 4 digit code to type into the fitbit app to complete pairing and it'll get stuck there. Don't freak out! Wait it out! I literally waited around 30 minutes and it finally connected!!! It just wouldn't connect quickly so I thought it wasn't working smh
I put the step in bold that most of us would be looking for specifically that the mods on these forums haven't posted 🙂
here is something a moderator posted about phones being compatible:
"Please note that your phone or tablet is not on our list of compatible devices. We confirmed that the devices on this list are fully compatible with all features of Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app. While a phone or tablet may not be verified as fully compatible, the Fitbit app may still work with your device.
We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. Be sure to verify that your phone or tablet meets the minimum operating system requirements.
If your phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, we provide assistance and troubleshooting steps. Because your phone or tablet is not fully compatible with Fitbit devices, we can't guarantee syncing and other Fitbit features. "
Will Fitbit add the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE? It's a fairly popular model and us users would hope we could use our phone to sync and track our progress.
I agree! I just got the S20 FE and didnt realize it wasnt compatible until a little bit ago...😡
To set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running one of the following operating systems My Gift Card Site
Totally agree. I just got my new samsung FE and so annoyed that I still have to use my old iPhone to check fitbit. So disappointing.
having the same problem worked fine till Saturday
Hi I am thinking of changing my phone to this model and just wondering if you got this resolved, does your versa work ok now and can you still receive notifications etc ? Many thanks
The synching is happening as it's logging my steps to the app, but any other feature like when you get a call or text from your phone alerting your Fitbit/or at least it's sporadic if/when it happens.
Best AnswerI haven't had an issue in a few months now. All seems to be working OK.
Best AnswerAll notifications come through unless the battery is low.
I can accept calls and reply with preset responses.

My sister has an S20 FE. I tried connecting my Fitbit Charge 3 but it would not connect, as it does not seem to be compatible. She was able to connect an old FB Flex without issue, but is looking to upgrade tracker as this battery only lasts a day, if she's lucky.
I myself have a Charge 5, which I haven't yet tried to connect on her phone (I have an iPhone).
Has anyone found any other Fitbit trackers that actually do work with the S20 FE?
Best AnswerI haven't. All I know is that the Fitbit Sense also doesn't work well.
The problem with mine has been that I get all notifications on my SE with the Charge 5, I get incoming calls but not message notifications.
It's very frustrating. Hey Fitbit fix it! I'm thinking about going back to a Galaxy watch bc this is nonsense.
