Hi, have you tried the steps here? http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/

In addition, recently I had a sync problem and discovered that I had to turn on Location Settings in order to sync. I use Samsung S4 with Android Lollipop (5.0.1).

Perhaps you can give it a try and let us know if it works.

I posted a request to update the Fitbit Help pages. Please discuss and support the request here: fitbit.link/29pe82W

Welcome to the Community @geeruff

Let me help you with this,I agree with @geeruff by following the troubleshooting steps for syncing, below you can find it as well:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
  3. Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
  4. Restart your tracker, make sure to follow the instructions that @PeterFitbit shared.
  5. Try syncing with a computer instead. If you use the notifications feature, first see Why is my tracker only syncing with one mobile device?
  6. If you're still unable to sync, I agree with @Mystique contact Customer Support so they can investigate the issue and get you back on track.

Keep me posted!
