My fit bits last sync was July 15, it keeps changing time zones and I can't reboot it. When I plug into the computer and press the button the stop watch comes on. I can't get the code to reboot. Just the stop watch over and over.

Welcome to the Forums @Blackben.
Thanks for trying to restart your Fitbit in order to get it to sync.
In this case I'd first recommend that you try following these steps to get your Fitbit to sync once again. That should definitely help so that it stops switching timezone.
In the meantime I'd like to ask:
- What Fitbit are you using?
- What phone do you use to sync? Is it the only one?
- What Android version and Fitbit app version are you running?
Let me know if there are any further questions.

Hello @Blackben.
This might be happening because the Galaxy J3 is not currently on the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone and thus some issues might happen.
There is chance that it can work as long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, however we cannot guarantee that it will. Some users that do not have have supported phones have mentioned that following these steps that I shared above. Maybe you could give it a shot.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I give up I have tried everything, it worked fine on my phone until July 15 at 6:40. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and uninstalled. I installed it on my tablet and again it just keeps turning and trying to sync. Nothing works and I'm too frustratedcto keep trying. It seems they have about a one year life.

If it is constantly trying to sync is it draining my battery and system? Should I just uninstall it and toss it?

Hello @Blackben.
Thanks for trying the steps I suggested, it definitely seems to be related to the phone not being on the list.
To answer your question, yes. It would drain a bit of your battery.
If you have a computer you could try using that get your Fitbit to sync and then only use the app on your phone to check your data. You can find steps on how to sync with different devices by clicking here.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
