Fitbit not syncing with phone

My Fitbit will not snyc to my phone it did I tried everything. I turned off Bluetooth and back on plugged my fit bit in I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. It did snyc for a day and then noticed it stopped. What can I do

Let me help you with your Fitbit not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which Fitbit device do you have? Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I have the Alta as my Fitbit and a Nokia 3.1 phone and it does snyc and
then it stops ihave tried turning everything off cleared my Bluetooth and
still does not work I'm not sure if my Fitbit is just getting to old I've
had it for 2 years or more

Having the same issue after a recent android update.  Will not recognize device then suddenly it does.  Time is off and I have to manually refresh about 15 times before it will recognize the device.  Have had both phone & Charge 3 for over a year and have NEVER had an issue.

I am having the same issue with my Versa not receiving notifications from my Galaxy S9. This has happened after the update that happened a couple of days ago. I've re-paired and even reinstalled app. Also tried the other solutions in forum such as turning Bluetooth off and on and restarting phone.

Beware! I unpaired my charge 3 with my bluetooth like it said and now it
says it can't pair! I have a charge 3 (new in Feb) and a Samsung S10
.... this should NOT be happening! Can't undo an update either!
