Fitbit showing notifications to my phone

Fitbit sends frequent notifications to my Android phone.  What I see is usually part of a sentence, and most apps that do this will show me the complete notification when I tap on it.  These from Fitbit typically just open the Fitbit app and show me the dashboard.   If I navigate to the Notifications section of the app,  there might or might not be something there - and sometimes there is something there but it's only part of a sentence and tapping goes nowhere.
For example, right now I am seeing on my phone screen,
1d
Fitbit
SmartTrack just auto recognized..

When I tap that, it goes to a page that says Exercise at the top, but it never shows me the rest of the incomplete sentence in the notification.  (That page seems to think I rode a bicycle outdoors  yesterday.  I don't own a bicycle, outdoors or in.)   And the notification is gone from my phone screen now, so I can't even try to track it down again to find out what it said.

This is happening a lot.  Getting these notifications could be useful if there was some way to read them, so before I look for a way to turn them off, can anyone tell me how to see the whole notification?

Hello @cyneli are ember asking about the Fitbit tracker or the Fitbit app on the unknown phone?

Are these notifications popping up in the phones notifacation center?

Without a screen shot it is not easy to understand.

Could the partial sentences be because of the phone's screen setting?

Hi @cyneli, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. Just as our friend @Rich_Laue mentioned. can you please share some screenshots about this situation? You can refer to this post for instructions of how to attach an image into your post. Also, can you please specify which phone and Fitbit device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? More details will be appreciated.

Looking forward to your reply.
