Fitbit will not reconnect to the App

My charge 3 stopped syncing to my Samsung S9.  It finds the tracker but will not connect.  The fitbit Charge 3 says it is version 28.20001.6 3.5 but the app is different.  How do I update the fitbit to match?

Hello @Buddywinters the Fitbit should be a different version 3.19.2

 

Have you tried the normal steps. Don't remove tracker from your account. 

Have you opened you phone settings, apps, Fitbit, storage, clear cache? 

Swiped the Fitbit out of memory and through the phone settings stopped the app. 

Checked for an app update and restart, better yet, shutdown phone. 

Now try a sync.

All good now. Had to uninstall, turn phone off then back on and reinstall. Thx for getting back to me.
