So, when is Google going to be fixing the sync issues that MULTIPLE people have reported? My Inspire 3 has been out of sync with the App since the firmware update was released.
- The app often has 1000 more steps then on the Inspire 3
- Almost a full km more on the app then on the Inspire
- Hourly activity is hit or miss, frequently the app is wrong when compared to the Inspire
I have performed the "reset/resync" every couple of days without success.
Reset/resync
- On your phone, forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings
- Go to your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache
- Go back to one screen and tap Force Stop
- Uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and reinstall the Fitbit app
- Open the Fitbit app and log into your account
- Then pull down on the screen to force a manual sync
It has come to the point that we all should be questioning how accurate any stats the app gives us and if we can even trust our devices.
