Fixing Sync Issues

So, when is Google going to be fixing the sync issues that MULTIPLE people have reported?  My Inspire 3 has been out of sync with the App since the firmware update was released.

  • The app often has 1000 more steps then on the Inspire 3
  • Almost a full km more on the app then on the Inspire 
  • Hourly activity is hit or miss, frequently the app is wrong when compared to the Inspire 

I have performed the "reset/resync" every couple of days without success.

Reset/resync 

  1. On your phone, forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings
  2. Go to your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache
  3. Go back to one screen and tap Force Stop
  4. Uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and reinstall the Fitbit app
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log into your account
  6. Then pull down on the screen to force a manual sync

It has come to the point that we all should be questioning how accurate any stats the app gives us and if we can even trust our devices.
