My new LG Stylos 4 has an Android 8.1 OS; however, that does not seem to be supported for my flex 2. How can this be fixed?

@pittypat Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your Flex 2 isn't syncing with your phone. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
Let me know how it goes!

Actually, my first problem is that my old phone, a galaxy s5, died and I did not get a chance to backup my apps and files. So I no longer have my fitbit app. I am not tech savvy, so I don't know what to do about getting my flex 2 set up.
