I did NOT change the size of my font settings on my android, Fitbit did an update which removed the dashboard and left us with oversized useless crap instead.  Fit it needs to put the previous dashboard back.

Hear hear

No no no! Why is this change to the dashboard happening to so many of us? Must be a fitbit "update".

The new home page sucks!!

This happened to me too. I think it is the new version of the app.

It’s awful isn’t it! I can’t figure out how to do much on it. It won’t sync my heart rate, sleep & yesterday it took steps from my Apple health app rather than my Fitbit. Nightmare!

Isn't it awful?

I started having the same exact problem w/ supersized Fitbit  Font appearing abruptly 2 days ago,Main screen all black & white and oversized.

Following thread to seek answers. Will try adjusting accessibility on iPhone next

Best Answer
There's nothing you can do to change this.
Fitbit been bought out by Google who have implemented some unwanted changes!

Update. Tried adjusting accessibility settings on my phone. Made no difference. The Fitbit main screen is still with huge fonts & all black & white.

Best Answer

This is a Fitbit app problem, not an accessibility issue. I went into accessibility on my Galaxy S22 plus and changed my font to default. The fonts on every application became smaller (too small actually), but the font on Fitbit and general layout remains huge. It is no coincidence that several people are having the same problem after the latest update. The Fitbit administrator needs to correct the problem because it is not user error. I have a Fitbit versa 4.

Thank you for confirming what several Fitbit users have noted. Agreed. Not accessibility issue in my iPhone. I tried changing iPhone font to “normal” type, which changed it for my texts, but made no difference in the Fitbit app which is still huge font, all in Black & White. No color coding as before. I have a Fitbit Sense.

I agree entirely I hate the new homepage, no battery levels information you want.

Hi everybody !

Thank you for your reports and pictures shared.

In order to investigate this, could you all please reply with the following information:

A. Phone model and operating system version (eg. Samsung A10 Android 13, Google Pixel 6 Android 13, etc)
B. Is only the Fitbit App affected or were other apps also affected with this? (if other apps were affected, did it start after installing our 4.0 release of the Fitbit app)?
C. Screenshot, please provide us with screenshots, besides the one from DebbieOBX , where the font can be recognized.
D. Please try the reset settings: Many phones have an option to reset Display settings for defaults. It would be very helpful if some of you could try that and share the results.  For example, on a Google Pixel 6 Pro phone this option is available from Settings> Display> Display size and text> Reset settings.

The new app update made the app font HUGE...too big for the screen. Yet none of us can read the fonts on our LUXE without magnification.  Surely there is a balance to be reached?

Best Answer

Exactly the same for me on Iphone 8.  Useless and although I've tried all the suggested possibilities nothing works.  Rubbish

Annoying! Battery percentage is only available in the tracker, which for me requires a magnifying lens to read! Chat said the battery icon is all that’s available. This is so frustrating! I hope evertone keeps complaining to Fitbit, it’s ridiculous! Should have left it alone- it’s been a week or longer, I still can’t find the info I’m used to checking every morning.☹️

----

It’s the completely inappropriate, insufficient update to the Fitbit app/ has nothing to do with our phones! And I didn’t install it, I merely went to check it, and it suddenly changed. You must know this by now, we were happy with the former home screen, and angry and frustrated with the new one. It’s hard to read, not user friendly, for goodness sakes, the very least you could have done was to leave the position of the individual tiles in the same position!!! Users are unhappy, you need to change it back to the way it was, before we all start ditching the device for something else!

Don’t bother ( I’m probably too late with this), it has nothing’s to do with your phone, Fitbit, or google, has updated the app with these awful changes, which everyone seems to despise!
