Food Unit Menu Does not stay Active

When logging food I am unable to enter the correct units as the unit menu does not stay active. After entering a numerical amount and clicking on Next, the units menu briefly appears but does not remain active long enough to select the proper unit of measure.

Can you please provide more details about it? For example a screenshot, you can check this post to know how to add an image to your post.

 

In the meantime:

  • Check if the app has a pending update.
  • The software on your phone or tablet is up to date.

You can also try the solution below :

  • Log out of your Fitbit account.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app. 
  • Restart your phone
  • Open the Fitbit app.
  • Log in to your Fitbit account.

Forgive the necro, but I'm currently having this issue.  I've tried the solution you provided but I still have the issue.  Below is a screenshot of the screen that has the issue.  It is present on most but not all foods.  The units menu appears at the down arrow next to the serving size value.  It would be helpful if the unit itself was displayed.

I tried to post a screen shot but it didn't work.  The instructions in your link are 3 years old.  I'll try again.
