Food database

I am a brand new Blaze user and when I go to log in food I can't figure out how to find and use the food database. Help! The options at top are just a bar code, 123 and a plus. When I select the plus, the options then become frequent, recent and custom. All that shows is food I have logged using bar codes.

Is internet turned on? (Mobile or Wifi?), this is required so a magnifying glass icon appears after tapping the 'plus' sign. Afterwards it's possible to search for foods online, the database isn't available offline. Cat Embarassed
