Food list issues

Everytime I go in to log my food it comes up with a Chinese symbol. I literally have to customize my list and I am wondering;how do you fix it to come up in English?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that you're experiencing such issue in the Fitbit app. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this? Does this happens every time you try to log your food? If possible, please send me a screenshot of the symbol you receive and follow the next steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Hi RichardoFitbit, 

 

So I have already did the top 6 things you suggested and I still receive the Chinese symbols to to food list. Unless I customize my list it comes up in symbol form.  When I search food in a  common list I get this below that pops up. It doesn't show up in English anywhere except for in my customized list. 

Help!!
