Forced to Restart Phone for Notifications on Charge 3

I am having to re start my phone (OPPO R9 Plus) all the time to link to my Charge 3 to get notifications, altho the 2 are never more then 2 meters apart.

 

I get it to connect so i can get notifications on my charge 3, but with in 5 minutes its asking me to re start my phone to receive notifications.

Thanks for bringing this up and mentioning all of those details plus the steps that you have to follow to get it to work.

 

This might be happening because the OPPO R9 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

 

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the notifications. Maybe you could give them a try.

I found the fix.. 

 

I turned off the advanced optimisation Battery settings And so far have not had any issues.
