Friend request I can't accept, ignore or block. Help?

As the title says I have a friend request that won' allow me to click accept or ignore, I tried to block it but half an hour later it came unblocked for want of better phrasing. Any Help? I'm on a Samsung S6 Edge but not sure which version of Android or Fitbit 😕

Hello @NadineyNuisance, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Certainly this is not an expected behavior. I would recommend to follow these steps:

Please log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

That didnt work. So i always have a message notification. Its annoying. Cant block ignore or anything. It keeps popping bk up

Did you fix it? Mine is doing that too.

 It did yes except i didnt have the option of clearing cache so i had to run a well know phone clean-up program to try and do that part

That seemed to work for a second. Then it went back to not letting me accept or block. Then it seemed to work again. I saw Cheer and Message buttons. But I go back to notifications and there's the request again. The same one I supposedly accepted. So I started a challenge to see my friends. She's not there. So nope.

@NadineyNuisance thank you for sharing with us that it worked for you. 

@stacylynn and @GabinkaP, recently there was a new version of the Fitbit app. Make sure to install this new update, since it contains stability improvements for the Fitbit app. For more details, please refer to this post.

If it was require to update the app, make sure to repeat once again my previous recommendation.
