Friend request failed to send [ERROR 404]

Hi, new to fitbit. Trying to send a friend request on the app, or via the dashboard online results in an error message [ERROR 404] [URL https://android-cdn-api.fitbit.com/1.1/user/-/friends/invitations]

Ive tried resetting the app, logging in, logging out. Etc. I see online others are having this issue too. What is fitbit doing about it? I also havent recieved invitations when im talking to the person and watching them send it

Hi @Kev90 I can't help with the app problem 

A workaround is to send your friend this link to your profile page. 

Ask your friend to tap on Add Friend. 

Your profile is at https://www.fitbit.com/user/8TR5BC

You can send this link to your friend through Facebook, private Twitter, email, or text message. Basically anyway that you communicate with them. 

I've also moved your android question out of hardware support.

Saw your post is it still true today March 28, 2023, after the shut down of the open groups and challenges.  I did as instructed, but I don't see the Green and Red buttons to accept or remove a friend.  Please advise.
