Frozen screen after seeing blank exercise breakdown.

I've had 5 Fitbits and I've never had any problems with them until this Charge 3! I experienced all the issues with pairing, syncing, notifications, etc that has already documented to the fullest so I won't complain here.

The issue I'm having now is that the app keeps freezing on the welcome screen. You know the one that's all white with the green "fitbit" word that usually disappears within a second of opening the app. This is after I've already reset, re-paired, reinstalled the app, powered my phone on and off, turned Bluetooth on and off, blah blah blah JUST to get this Charge 3 to connect and sync, so all those boxes are checked (I've had to do all these numerous times actually).

I have to uninstall, reinstall, and login the app again to get past this screen (after I have already worked soooo hard to get it to connect and sync).

The pattern, from what I can tell, is it happens after I look a my workouts and try to view the breakdown/details. I've had to manually log some workout the past couple of days and when I look at those workout details, it's blank (possibly ANOTHER issue!). I can navigate away from these manual entries, but once I leave the app and come back in I'm stuck on the welcome screen. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app and then it's good, BUT I have to fix my settings for everything again!

I didn't see any similar issues when I searched the forum, so I posted it here. I've attached the welcome screen and the blank manual workout screen.

I miss my Charge 2!

Any insight?

Hello @MizUndastood.

Thanks for taking those screenshots to explain what is going on and for sharing the steps that you have gone through to get everything to sync.

The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to check where is the app installed. Whether it is in the internal or external storage of the phone, move it to the opposite and then check if that helps. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Open the settings on your phone.
  2. Go into the applications settings.
  3. Look for the Fitbit app and tap on it.
  4. There select the option to move from internal or external memory to the opposite.
  5. Restart your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and check if it works correctly this time.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
