Hello @Mezza1966.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for replying with those answers!

Given that it is not happening at all times it seems like it could be related to the GPS connection with your phone. If the days are particularly cloudy, there are lots of trees or buildings it could lead to GPS not connecting to your phone, as I mentioned above.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Mezza1966.

Thanks for sharing that screenshot of the map that you get.

It is possible that the GPS was disconnected because of a large number of trees, buildings, going into a tunnel or a particularly cloudy day and thus the map isn't complete.

I'd like to ask you some questions on this:

  • What Fitbit are you using?
  • Has this happened before or is this the first time?
  • What phone do you use for the Fitbit app?

Look forward to your reply.

Hi
I’m using the Fitbit Blaze.....(only had it since Christmas)
My phone is Samsung S9
It happens a couple of times a week to be honest and sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m trying obviously to increase my fitness and I’m wondering if I’m doing more miles than it’s actually saying or if the mileage is correct but just missing it off map....
The GPS is on and I check it when I’m walking so it’s a mystery
Do you think there’s anything wrong with my Fitbit ? Or even my phone isn’t compatible (but it says it is)

Cheers
