Hi;
I have a Fitbit One.
I have used the GPS tracking on the fitbit app several times this year and it has always been very accurate.
Monday I want for a run and the app showed me running through houses. As a result the total km was shorter than in reality. Today I went for a run again, this time it it was way off, it was about 2 km shorter than it should have been.
Settings on my end are all the same as before. In the past I sometimes had the bluetooth active as well. But other times not and it worked just fine.
I know that fitbit and android did updates recently. Does this have something to do with it?
Are there some settings that I can change to fix this?
Thanks,
Karen

Hi @ksnieks, welcome to the Community! Let me explain you something about the GPS signal, for example if you were running through buildings or a lot of houses, the signal may be interrupted or lost. That of course, affects the distance logged. So can you tell me, did you change the route where you always run?
Keep me posted!

I'm having similar issues. I understand about the signal, but if you are looking at the map part itself, it shows consistently the trail I took, not missing any signal and even has the correct mile markers. I've gone the same route before and not had issues, but the last few runs are showing up multiple miles short in the summary as well as my miles/hr. Please help!

Does Fitbit One even support GPS connected? Thought the only GPS capable were Surge, with Blaze and Charge 2 via connected GPS.

Hi @Dragonfruit, it is great to see ya' around the forums more often! Regarding your question, no, the Fitbit One doesn't have GPS feature. Connected GPS is only available on the Fitbit Blaze and the Charge 2. Now the Surge, has integrated GPS, which means that it doesn't need to be connected to your phone for you to use the GPS signal.
Hope this helps!
