GPS map incomplete

I've had this problem today with a Charge 5 in 2023. I paused it half way through to get my hair cut and resumed when I started again. Clicked finish at the end and it's only mapped the 2nd half.

So this has been an issue for almost 5 years now it seems.

Why can't FB get the basics right?

@ziplock9000 Nice to see you again in the forums.

Thanks for reaching out about GPS tracking with your Charge 5 and the explanation. To be honest I have never made a pause that long during an exercise log. However, a pause should not interfere with the GPS tracking.

In this case I recommend you make sure that the GPS connected when you start the training. In this case it seems it finally connected after that pause at the hairdresser. It may have not connected for the first half before the pause. I will try today to replicate your training (start, then pause and then resume) and I will check my results.

I recommend you take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the following article:   (under Built In GPS and scroll down).

Have a nice day!
