GPS map sharing not available in Android app

As I check with ios app, gps map sharing is available there but why not in Android app.

There is a suggestion for this

However, as I posted there, this suggestion shouldn't even exist, both platforms should be treated exactly the same.

no, not the same. please have a check-in activity sharing option on both Android and ios platform.
