Unfortunately, I don't see that phone on fitbit's list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

@topcat25 sometimes restarting the fitbit can help with this. Here's how to do it:

@Deltazeta @topcat25 As @SteveH mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is not listed as a supported device on our supported devices list. I recommend keeping an eye on that list as that will be updated once the phone has been fully tested and approved as fully supported with our app.
In the meantime, you can use the USB wireless sync dongle that came with your tracker to set up and sync. Let me know if that helps.

ErickFitbit, it's been a year and still not Galaxy Core Prime on the list of compatible phones.
How long does it take to fully test and approve a device?

There are only couple android phones added to list in one year time, currently only 2 Samsung models available in stores that are in supported list.
I know testing is tough job, takes time and so on.. but looks that time has passed fitbit and if they don't add new phones fast, fitbit will just fade away.
I did order 2 pcs of mi band 2 and if no confirmation of new phones next week.. I'm returning my 2 fitbit devices to shop.

Fitbit are not testing new or old android devices, this is evident in the fact that previous years flagships have still not been tested.
I'm looking at other options for my next fitness watch.

I had a Fitbit Flex for several years, no problem synching to my phone. My new Versa will not synch to the same phone -- Galaxy Core Prime, Model SM-G360V, running Android 5.1.1.. Are you saying that your Fitbit app on this phone works for the Flex but more testing is required for it to work with the Versa? Also, I was able to add the Versa through my phone app when I purchased the Versa, so it seems odd that it no longer recognizes it. The dashboard displayed by the phone app has been updated to include things that the Flex dashboard didn't, such as BPM and stairs.
