Just received my Fitbit Charge 3 yesterday, and I'm disappointed to say that I cannot receive any notifications through it. My phone will connect via Bluetooth, but it won't allow notifications. I believe I've tried every suggestion that I can find in this forum, so now I'm looking for some extra help. I've uninstalled and reinstalled; restarted my phone; unpaired and repaired but to no avail. I've gone through and allowed notifications on Fitbit's app and on my phone, and when I go to my Bluetooth connection spot, my only option is to unpair. Any suggestions? I'm ready to return the watch and try something else because I don't think it should be this difficult. It's not on my other smartwatch.

Hello @NicoleFit thanks for bringing this to my attention, let me give you a hand with your notifications concern and a warm welcome to our Community Forums as well.

 

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this notifications inconvenience prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you and I'm sorry for that. Seems odd that you're unable to receive notifications with your new Charge 3 and your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, even more when it's compatible with our products and services.

 

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see if there's a missing requirement on your Note 9 that's preventing the notifications to come through. Also, move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and give them a try. I know some of them were already tried but the order specified there is really important.
