I received an auto update today (8/14) and since then my Alta will not receive messages or call notifications. Any leads on how to fix?

Hello @Calpratt, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. I was your post and I'm wondering how it goes so far? Is the issue persisting?
You mentioned about an auto-update, if this happened please try to reset the app. Just log out from your Fitbit app and restart your phone. Once you see your phone has loaded go to the Fitbit app and log back in.
Make sure the notification option is enable. If the option is Off, try to turn it On again. For more details please use this post.
If all the previous is not the cause of the issue, then give it a try to the recommendations of my friend here: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
See you around and hope this helps.
