Galaxy S7 Edge

I just recently upgraded my phone from the Galaxay S3 to the Galaxy S7 Edge.  I had no clue that my FitBit Surge would not work with the S7.  I love my new phone and my fitbit so it would be really nice to be able to have them working in sync again.  Is there going to be an update anytime soon??  Anyone else hoping for an update like yesterday? Lol!

Hey hey hey @PolishedTurtle welcome to the Community! Upon checking our compatible devices list, I have confirmed that your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is not a compatible phone yet, however, our developers are working to include this Samsung model on that list. So I really appreciate your patience. Woman Wink In the meantime, if you keep your old Samsung Galaxy 3, please sync with it or using a computer.

Have a great day! Woman Very Happy

I'm in the same boat. Just upgraded from iPhone to Samsung G7 and just learned this phone isn't compatible with my fitbit. Rather upset right now. How long will we have to wait?

I've been using my surge with my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge for 2 weeks now and it's awesome. Except more when suddenly the calories areally incorrect on the app today. The occasional force closing is annoying but not going to kill me, so I live with it. Hoping it's fixed soon.

Well it fixed now. Ran this morning and app, dashboard and surge aLloyd gave same, correct, information.

Yesterday it was giving me a lower, drastically lower, amount of calories burnt. But today it's back to normal.

I also did not know my Galaxy S7 Edge will not sync with the fitbit Surge!!  I had no idea.  I guess I need to return both mine and my boyfriends.  😞   as we both have the same set up.

Hi guys@Daverumie and @cordovahs77! Fitbit engineers still testing the Samsung Galaxy S7, that could be the reason why is not syncing neither the rest of the other features are working as intended.

As I mentioned before, I need you to be patience, because as soon as this model is fully compatible, we will let you know here in the Community so you can enjoy all the features it has.

Is there an expected date for when we can sync the fitbit one to the Galaxy s7 Edge? This is very frustrating! I have paid a lot for both devices and am not very happy with fitbit for dropping the ball on staying updated to technology!

It's been 5 months since this was written and still no compatability.  When can we expect our expensive tracker to sync with our expensive phone?

Just an update, I haven't had problems in months, all seems well and I even had an upgrade to my fitbit with no compatibility problems.
