Welcome to the Community @Condell70. At the moment Samsung Galaxy S7 is not a compatible phone and that's why you have problems syncing with it. Our team still testing the compatibility of this phone. In the meantime, you can sync your tracker with a computer or a Compatible Mobile Device.

@TCFC It may not sync with your Galaxy S7 as it isn't listed as a compatible device, but it doesn't hurt to try the setup process. Until listed as a fully supported device, it isn't guaranteed that all features will fully function on your device.
If you're having issues with syncing on your mobile device, you can always sync with a computer using the accompanied USB wireless sync dongle.

I think the question most of us would like answered is:
Will the S7 definitely become a supported device? Is it just a matter of time, or is fitbit unsure if it is going to be possible to add it to the list?
Because for right now, to answer the OP, you Charge HR can sync to your computer, and you phone can sync to your computer. It just can't track steps on its own, and may not do well directly syncing to your Charge HR.

Hello all, it's great to see that the Community is getting bigger! As mentioned before, if your phones don't appear in the list of Compatible Mobile Devices you will experience some inconveniences connecting your tracker with it. I recommend keeping an eye on the list for any update.

Alejandra,
The community is getting bigger because FitBit is doing bad things and also because you, and the other moderators are doing a genuinely awful job. So many questions don't get answered - entire threads with good questions get completely ignored. You (and your colleagues) seem to be really bad at recognizing what customers what to know, and exactly what would be helpful.

@chaddyJ I'm sorry to hear that! Have you tried resetting your community and re-syncing it?

Hello @chaddyJ. I understand your point of view, however, keep in mind that this information has not been shared with us and this is why we can't provide any updates on whether the Galaxy S7 will be added or not to the compatible devices list or, in case it gets added, when this is going to happen. For now, you can try@ErickFitbit's suggestion listed in this previous post. I sure appreciate your comprehension and patience with this.
In regard to other threads being ignored or not having a Moderator reply yet, I can assure you that this is been taking care of and that we also allow the participation of other Community members to help out and share their best practices or tips.
Remember that you can also contact customer support so they can help you out by giving you an extra hand if you have an ongoing issue.
Any other comments or questions, let me know.

Hi - i have a charge hr and bought a samsung s7 yesterday -if i turn the fitbit off and back on, the phone can find it and sync, otherwise it can't locate it as a device. Are fitbit still working on this ? I've read a few messages on here from three months ago, is there any new news ? ta.

Hi - is there any new news on this ? It's a bit annoying that a five year old iphone 4s is a compatable device but not a latest phone. 😞

@barbieup Yes, we're always working to get more devices added to our list of supported devices. I don't have a timeline to share of when specific devices will be added.
As a workaround while our Android team works to test and add those devices to our supported devices list, you can sync via a computer using the USB wireless sync dongle that came with your tracker.
