Getting "Fitbit.com is down for maintenance - network operation failed"

FitBit communicated on Twitter that the issued experienced had been resolved. However, I continue to receive this message when trying to set up my FitBit Inspire.

Fitbit.com is down for maintenance - network operation failed.

 

I have rebooted. Toggled with blue tooth & wifi. Deleted the app and reinstalled it.
