Text messages are received but won't allow me to open it on my versa 2...what am I doing wrong?

@Anitahickey Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned. 

I'd like you to ensure that when your text notification is coming, from the clock face, swipe down from the top of the screen to see it. Then tap a notification to expand it.

If that's the procedure you're following but the notification isn't opening, let's try restarting your watch and continue monitoring its functionality.
