Can I go back to the old dashboard? I do not like the look and feel of this at all. It's messy, and the screen is busy! Please, how can I go back to the old one? Honestly, had I known this change was coming I wouldn't have just purchased a brand new tracker

Well there are those of use that hate it you should give use a choice. We didn't buy this dashboard. Hard to read and use. Also my fitbit dose not notify me with text and other things since last upgrade. Have tried everything. These things aren't cheap. Stop changing things without testing. Mines a watch now that counts steps. I am telling people not to buy this brand . You keep changing! !!!!!!!!!!

My phone just updated and switched me to the new dashboard. The ootion to switch back is gone!!! I HATE THE NEW DASHBOARD. it is cumbersome and difficult to read. How fitbit think this is an improvement is beyond me. Bring back the old version for those who want it. And I couldn't even contact fitbit unless by twitter!!! Seriously not everyone has a twitter account. Not happy fitbit

you can download an old version of the Fitbit app (2.47) from any website with collections of old apk files (I used apkmirror).
Delete your current Fitbit app, disable automatic updates in your Google Play store, install the downloaded apk with the version 2.47, and after that you should be able to choose the old style dashboard in the advanced settings.
After that you can turn on automatic updates for your other apps, just remember not to allow it for Fitbit anymore.

@Aguila2270, first of all, delete and remove completely version 2.48-2.49 from your phone and reboot it to clear cache.
After that, please follow the instructions from my post above. Good luck!

Hello and welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community @Aguila2270, @Dudley1997 and good to see you again @Elena_Iv..
As I mentioned before, I really appreciate all your comments and feedback about the new Dashboard. This initiate was launched as a beta phase almost a year ago in different platforms and was well received by the majority of Fitbit users. The intention of this was to keep the app simple and to standardized the style and format across the different mobile platforms (iOS, Android and Windows)
Saying this, I can understand as well not all changes will align with your expectations and the way you want the Fitbit Dashboard works. As Moderator I guarantee I will pass this feedback and comments with my teammates, as all suggestions are well received to make improvements in our services and products. However this changes are not immediate and require time to evaluate a future change if is applicable.
I do not recommend to use an APK file from unknown sources, as this may harm your phone. In addition the new versions of the app include stability and bug fixes. If you remain in an outdated version you may experienced this glitches within the Fitbit app or the app wont sync with your trackers as is expected.
@Aguila2270 take note at this moment the new Dashboard is permanent an there is no way to switch to the old version if you are using the official Fitbit app.
Thank you once again for your feedback.

@RobertoME, thank you for your comment and for your assurance that all comments are being relayed to the relevant parties.
However, respectfully, I cannot agree with this statement in your last post:
"the new Dashboard. This initiate was launched as a beta phase almost a year ago in different platforms and was well received by the majority of Fitbit users"
I was also a part of the beta group and, along with many other users, I gave my own feedback in the thread that collected the feedback on Android app over many months:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Android-Dashboard-Redesign-Feedback/m-p/1594544
This forum thread gathered 486 posts, and I doubt that there was even a dozen positive responses about it. An overwhelming majority of feedback posts was negative. Lots of posts explained in details what exactly was wrong or inconvenient in the new layout.
This makes me question the overall statement that the new layout was "well received" by the majority of users.
Of course, you are right when you caution about getting apk files from non-official sources.
However, as I pointed out in another thread, this issue might be easily prevented if the company would make older app versions available to the customers officially, with a clear understanding that the users might prefer to forfeit updates, in favour of a more convenient to them interface. This would really solve a lot of problems for the customers and for the company and reduce the amount of negative feelings.

@Elena_Iv. Thanks for your feedback in the original thread from the beta phase as well as your current stand. I can confirm that your feedback as well as the feedback of the rest of the Community users, was analyzed, summarized, and relayed to our Android team.
Our Android team does not have plans to revert the new Android Dashboard design back and does not have plans to provide access to the old Dashboard either.
We would love for all users to update to the latest app releases we have available so everyone can enjoy our newest features. We do not allow the public posting of APK files in the Community forums as those files do not come from official Fitbit websites. If you'd like to download the app, we always suggest doing so from the Google Play store.
Everyone -- I know that any change is going to be a little jarring, but please remember to keep your posts respectful and on-topic, per our Community Guidelines.
I am closing this thread to prevent duplicates and I recommend checking out the master thread in regards to the changes to the Android Dashboard that I have shared here.
