Google pixal watch not tracking sleep

Hello.  My Google pixal watch does not track my sleep at all.  Even if I make sure it is 100% charged it does not track anything. How can I fix this? 

Made sure the watch/app up to date. Tried a factory reset

A few questions to help provide some information so we can assist you:

  • Which Pixel watch do you have, 1 or 2?
  • Do you have any tattoos around your wrist where you wear your watch?
  • Did your watch ever track your sleep?
  • Are you having issues with any other data not being tracked?
  • Do you see a green light on the back of the watch?
  • Do you manually start your sleep on your watch?
