I was curious whether the map data shows up on my computer and I can confirm it did. It appears it's just and android app issue.

Did that and did not work for me. Did you Uninstall Google Play and then installed again by downloading the apk? Or any other way ?
Thanks

I was going to revert to an older version using the apk but it wasn't necessary. I just did it via the play store.

I Uninstalled play store app and installed the apk again. So what was the name of the app that you Uninstalled since I don't have a Google play services app.? Thanks for your assistance .

It was mere coincidence. I opened my bt sport app and it asked me to update Google play services which then took me to the relevant place. Like you I've just tried to find it via the play store to no avail

If you type 'Google play services' into a Google search bar it should bring up the link for you to install it

Hi,
Another solution that helpt me, and others is as follow
Solution ---> Enter Settings in mobile phone -> Apps & Messages -> Apps -> Google Play Store -> Storage -> Clear Data.
Good luck.
