Gps and pace are not accurate with Charge 2

Hi my charge 2 keeps not recording my whole run and my pace is way out maps are wrong massive bits missing help I'm really falling out of love with it now

Hello @Fussycow, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering if you are using connected GPS from your tracker or MobileRun feature?

 

If you are using Connected GPS make sure of the following:

 

  • Your phone is within about 20 feet of your tracker.
  • Your phone can identify your location and can track your location when you're not using Wi-Fi.
  • The Fitbit app is open on your phone or running in the background. Do not force quit the Fitbit app.

If all is good and you're still having difficulty, try these troubleshooting steps: (You can try these steps regardless if you are using connected GPS or MobileRun)

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app to reestablish a connection with your tracker.
  2. Reboot your mobile device.

Additionally you can perform a restart on your tracker. For more details please refer to this post: How to restart your Charge 2?

 

Keep in mind that environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your signal to connect with GPS, this may affect your pace or your map course since the connection is not constant.
