The phone is a Galaxy S10 5G updated in March 21

I logged out, Uninstalled, installed and logged back in. The crash problem was fixed.

About 100 of my notifications from the last 5 years reappeared.

Also note that I allowed the locater permission to remain ON at all times..

Try this, been fixed in my app

That is a generic android problem. Read this and update the webview app:

I'm having the same problem: Samsung Galaxy A71, Android 11, Fitbit version 3.41.1. I have already updated Google Chrome and Webview to fix other issues but the updates did not fix my Health Metrics problem.

Uninstall Fitbit and install again. Restart your phone also. After updating Google Chrome, problems with apps solved.

Any update moderator? A big fat silence is not reassuring.

Hi all, I uninstalled, rebooted and installed again and it solved for me (Pixel 3). Try, and also check beforehand in the Play Store that all your apps are up to date.

I have since updated my phone again to include Google Chrome App, uninstalled Fitbit and reinstalled it, it now appears to be working today (3 days after being off (I have a Samsung S10 on Android 11). I think the Android System Web View updated 18 hrs ago so it could have fixed it?  Who knows.

My issue started after joining the PAT study as well. It worked for one day, now I can't see my health metrics, guided programs, almost all premium functions, and when I click on my avatar in the corner to check my profile, it knocks me out too.

It appears there are other symptoms to this problem that point to the
failure to retrieve your personal data.
In my case.. the app also crashed when I tried to access my profile under
community>friends>you.
I also noticed that the wifi was working extra hard with no other apps open.

Mine's doing the same.  As far as I know it only started today.

I have issues with syncing sometimes as my phone isn't fully compatible and occasionally I have to restart the phone to get the two devices to connect.  I tried that with these problems but it's still not working.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, after a battle over my password which it claimed was unsafe but wouldn't let me change, and now everything seems to be working again.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for sharing the troubleshooting that has worked for some of you. Once again, this is appreciated.

If your Fitbit app is crashing and the Android system was updated, check out the instructions provided in this thread. Please try the following troubleshooting if the app is still crashing:

- Force quit the app

- Log out and into the app

- Uninstall the Fitbit app

- Reinstall it

Hope this helps.
