My new phone is syncing sometimes with my Fitbit Flex2 and other times does not. Is the device compatible with my new phone and if not when will it be? As these  becoming very popular range of phones.

Hi there @arfrlondon, awesome to have you here as a new member of the Fitbit Community! You are right about how popular are getting this line of mobile devices. However at the moment this phone doesn't figure among our list of Compatible DevicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet.

Regarding your question of when is going to be available as compatible, note that these details are unknown even for us as moderators, so I'm afraid I do not have information on this matter to share here. Nonetheless rest assure our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

In the meantime it would not hurt to try the following troubleshooting steps: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

See you around and stay tuned if you have more questions.

Can confirm on honor V10, random syncing and notification service failures - particularly in the morning after overnight charging. This phone is hugely popular, Fitbit need to work with Huawei to fix, rather than fobbing people off.

Yes this is a major problem and should be sorted.

I found a workaround:

Unpair Fitbit tracker in Bluetooth settings.

Next go to: settings/apps/apps/more/show system process/Bluetooth/storage/clear data

Now go back to Bluetooth settings and re-pair tracker.

Open Fitbit app. Should now be syncing.

Seems to me like the Fitbit app/tracker is creating some bad data, which is getting cached by Android, which then borks the syncing.

Unpaired connected device and cleared BT appdata. Now I'm unable to re-pair the two devices! 😄

Oh well... The sync wasn't working in the first place so why be linked anyways. 😉

Ok. I managed to re-pair the devices. Apparently booting the Charge 2 while connected to the charger was the key. The device just did not want re-pair itself before that.

Now all seems ok and the sync might also work. 😉

I am ditching my charge 2 precisely because of this and of the dismal service I had from the fitbit team  It worked well with Emui 8 but now that I moved to Emui9 it does not sync well. Goodbye fitbit.
