How I got notifications to work on the LG G5

I just wanted to post how I got notifications to finally work for my Lg G5 and my Charge 2. I had always had the notifications turned on yet I was never able to receive any. After playing in the settings I got it to work. Make sure that notifications are turned switched to on in your fitbit device. On the charge 2, hold down the button for two seconds until the notifications switch to on.

Then on your phone, open the fitbit app:

Go to General -- Notifications

Turn on for calls

Click text messages and choose the app that you use for messages *mine apparently had selected the phones default messaging app not Textra which is what I use*

Click calendar and choose the calendar app you use *again had selected the LG calendar not Google calendar which is what I use*

To test this out, click the three dots at the top far right corner, and click Send a Test Notification

After I did these steps, my notifications started coming through. Hope this helps someone
