You should notify Google Search. They claim Dark Mode is available.

Someone should resolve the issue of Dark Mode in the Fitbit App for Android devices.

Google search claims it is possible and gives explicit instructions on how to set Dark Mode.

Your Support teams claims it cannot be done!
