Hello and welcome to the forums @Stella03
You can't block people from sending friend requests. Here, you can set a person as "ignore" which means you won't see any posts they make on the forums.

It's nice to see you around more often @DreamTime!
Please know that at the moment there's not an option to block a person from joining a group you create on your Dashboard. However, you can make the group "private" since this will allow people to join your group only by invitation.
Have a nice week! ![]()
Once I've excepted someone's friend request can I then block them or unfriend them when they start inappropriate conversations? If there is not a way currently, Fitbit really needs to do an update because there are a ton of men out there now using this ap simply to get at women. I have a creeper I need to get rid of quickly!
@Kimbo_fofdid you remove that person as a friend? You go to the person's profile and click "unfriend" them. They won't even know you've done this, unless they keep close watch on their friends.
Anytime you get unwanted messages from someone, customer service is a good place to contact.
OMG! I just had this happen. accepted a friend request bc I thought I knew the person and he started trying to chat me up and get me to install WhatsApp. Creeper for sure! Wish there was a way to block but at least I was able to unfriend.

Sometimes these people post on here acting like it's a dating site. That gets shut down pretty quickly.
For friend requests, one member might decide to just accept everyone and another member might be more selective. On Facebook, I have to know you personally to accept your request. On Fitbit, I'll accept most requests, but I also check their profiles.
Glad you're being safe. Now if I could only convince my nieces that not all men use their real photos online...
Best Answerthat is exactly what is happening to me. im 15, and i just joined to work out and use the fitbit - and creepy guys keep asking for my number - its not fun at all.
