How do I delete messages from friends

@Jimmyz44 A warm welcome to our Community! Thank you for your inquiry. You can't delete messages from friends but they will be automatically deleted after 30 days. Still if you wish you can share your suggestion in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

I still have messages from January on my App. I have updated it but they still remain. Why is this if they are supposed to be deleted after 30 days?
