I have just changed to a new Android phone. I unpaired the old one so that now the new phone will pair. But it's lost all of my past data, which I want. The user name on the new account is not the one shown on my old phone, I have no idea how to save this. I don't think that previously an email was associated with my Fitbit, as I was saving my data via the app not my computer. Is all of my data lost?

It sounds like you have set up a new account on your new Android. All your data will still be there but will be under your old account. You will have had to have used an email when you first set up your fitbit and you'll need to know what this was to get your data back.
You need to logoff the app and then logon to that old email. If you can't remember the password then you can get that reset but it will be a problem if you can't remember which email you used.
