How to Change the "Day of Start" in the Exercise Calendar?

Why can't I change the calendar day to start on Monday instead of Sunday in the excersize portion on the app. (For the active days per week)

Hi there @Katuzny8710, awesome to have you here as a new member of the Community! I got great news for you, since it is possible now to change when you want to start your week.

  • Go to your account tab located in the right upper corner of the screen
  • Scroll down to the bottom and select Advanced Settings
  • Tap in "Start Week On" and choose between Monday or Sunday.

This will change when it will start the week on your calendar of the exercise section.

Hope this helps and if you have more questions just let me know.

I do not see Advanced Settings in the corner or anywhere else for that matter.  I have spent 30 minutes on this one stupid thing.  Why on earth Fitbit would set weekly settings different in two different places is beyond me.  Does not make sense at all.

@Wolfie2 the previous posts are a year old. If you want advanced settings on the phone app select your profile picture then scroll down to the bottom of the page. Open advanced settings and you should find start week in the listing.

Cheers

There is only Sunday and Monday, what I need is Saturday.

I have it set to start on Sunday, but the weekly progress email I get still starts on Monday.  I found the same setting on the web and it also says start week on Sunday, but the email starts on Monday.  Is there any way to change the email settings to match the device and web?  Thanks

I reviewed the info to change my recording start date (track date) from Sunday to Monday as I work out Mon through Fri, so I changed it to start on Monday instead of Sunday. However, now it starts on Wednesday. I even reset my Fitbit Charge 2 multiple times as well as signed in & out each time, but again, now it logs even the data much, much later. Is the Fitbit company trying to get me to upgrade to the newest watch & that's why they're not updating my phone properly?

I am having the same problem. I have sunday set but all my reports for the last year are from Monday. frustrating but thats just the way it is.It may be easier just to use Monday as a start point.

I want my week to start on Thursday and I want the weekly progress report to be Thursday - Wednesday.

Unfortunately what people want and what fitbit gives them are often completely different things.

Definitely Saturday is what I want too

Disappointing that I can't adjust my fitbit to the weekly cycle that works best for me. I follow a Tues-Mon 7-day routine.

Can we please get other options?

My week starts on Saturday and I would love it if my FitBit data could match that.

Thanks! 🙂

Why can we not choose a day ourselves? My week starts on a Wednesday and I give my reports to my coach. Its frustrating

Hi there, @Met428 @Hatorboa. Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your concerns about the usage of the Start week option.

In this case, I would much rather have any other option for you, but so far you can only choose between Sunday or Monday. I tried to look for a Product Feedback post that you can support, but I didn't find anything related. Based on that, I would recommend that you share a post on the Product Feedback board asking for the possibility to choose any weekday as the Start Day of the week.
